The Michigan OER (MI-OER) Network serves as a collective voice for the community to encourage the development and use of OER for educational, instructional, and public information purposes.
We are a community of practice among higher education institutions and the K-12 sector to promote, advocate, and support OER use and facilitate collaboration among its members.
Register now for the upcoming half-day Virtual OER Leadership Summit from the MI OER Network! On February 6th, 2026 from 9 AM to 1 PM, OER leaders from institutions across the state of Michigan are invited to gather together on Zoom. Our opening plenary session will be led by Hailey Babb, Open Education Program Manager at SPARC. The summit will continue with several hands-on sessions to provide active professional development that you can bring back to your campus. There is no fee to register, and any OER stakeholders from your campus are welcome to join. You can register for each session you are interested in using the links in the attached document, and while we plan to record these for folks who cannot attend, the sessions are intended to be interactive and most useful synchronously with others.
